Chap. Sixty Five Spellbinder out for Revenge
Nikki Brooks, aka Spellbinder, was dealing with the binds that had been put in place by the Rigger, and one of his Goons. As she was struggling with the ropes, she was hearing the Alarm Chirp on her phone, The Guardian was calling, asking her to return to town, so that she could patrol, Red Vixen, had some issues, and the Guardian would need Spellbinder to assist in bringing down the Reporter along with the Rigger along with the Geek.
As Spellbinder, was finally getting herself freed from the binds, she was so angered by all the Goons that had been messing with her town, and when she thought that she was just about free she was set upon by the Goon once more. As he had forgotten something to mark the SSH Heroine so that she could be identified much easier. When she saw her marking, she grew even more angry, the biggest thing that seemed to upset her about getting marked was the fact that, the Goon didn’t even use Red for the marking.
When Spellbinder, couldn’t engage her powers, she started to realize, that something must be affecting her powers, it was then that she noticed that the Power Claw, and the Power Dampener had been left about her neck. When she was finally able to get the Power Dampener off, she was able to feel a surge of her powers, but was still unable to get her uniform on automatically.
