Chap. Sixty Two Purple Vixen Superheroine Daydream
Purple Vixen, was not assigned a patrol for the day, and as she was feeling a little down about her recent experiences during her patrol she decided to head into the SSH HQ to see the Guardian. She was just deciding that perhaps it was a good day for some “fun”.
The Guardian, was wanting to try out some of the Jokeman’s ropes, and with Purple Vixen, now available for testing, they both decided that they would pretend that the Baker, was able to gain the upper hand over her, and so the Guardian decided to use the Power Dampener along with the Power Claw. The Claw was a new device of the Kingpin and his goons, it actually absorbed the powers of the heroine, rendering her nearly helpless in respect to her powers being restricted. The Guardian, started her out with some basic tasks, just checking to see if the Claw, and the Dampener were both working as expected. When she was struggling with the 500 pound weight along with the 1000 were equally difficult for her to complete.
As the testing continued, Purple Vixen, felt that her head was swimming from the Dampener, and was unable to focus her mind fully. As the Guardian, continued to work on her wrists to further her testing. He was commenting on how he was going to be working on computer upgrades at the SSH, but how happier he was that she decided to come into the HQ for some extra training.
For Purple Vixen, the day was just beginning.
