If it came down to it in the end, which sensation Jamie would like the least than it would really have to be a toss up between the ice cubes, and the pinwheel. Both were being used greatly upon her by this stage, as the ice was first used to tease her skin, then the pinwheel would have nearly a free reign over her once the ice droplets were slowly melting. Then it was the turn of the riding crop.
When I turned Jamie, to face the full heat of the fireplace, she seemed very much happier, as the ice cubes were finally melting completely, and then my fingernails and hands didn't seem as bad to her.
